Here we are at the midpoint of summer. Days are flying by fast, and it seems like instead of slowing down and taking it easy, we are trying to pack each day full of things needed to get done before the kids are back in school and fall gets underway.
The million dollar question is, are you packing in things to help you grow in your spiritual life? If not, then I want to invite you to join us for our next upcoming women's Bible study!

When is it?
Well, you are in luck! (I don't believe in luck, but it is the only word I could come up with.) Beginning Monday, July 31st, at 6:00 PM CST, our women's Bible study will be starting up again and we will be jumping into the book of Revelation!
This has been a long time in coming. After almost two months of writing, this 11-week study is in the printing process and should be ready within the week!
If you've ever tried reading Revelation but couldn't make sense of all the crazy stuff in there, then this study is for you!
If you've often wondered what the end times will be like, then this study is for you!
If you want a better grasp on who Jesus is, then this study is for you!
If you've never read the Bible (or owned one) before, then this study is for you!
How Do I Join?
I'm glad you asked! For those who live near me (you know who you are), then we have a great in-home study at my place! I even provide free entertainment with my two cats, Mercy and Tori. Hope you're not allergic!
For those of you not in the area, then we offer a Zoom option. Just let me know you'll be attending either way, and I'll get you set up and added to our group chat.
How Much Does it Cost?
The study is FREE. We would love to have you join us! If you would like to purchase the book so you'll have the notes all in one place, then I'll let you know just as soon as it is available. You can purchase on Amazon or I'll have some the first night of study.
*UPDATE: The book is now available here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CC4L6Y1F/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_2?crid=2RK2K7HYAB3JL&keywords=revelation+-+kristin+neace&qid=1689696898&sprefix=revelation+-+kristi+neace%2Caps%2C85&sr=8-2-fkmr1
Am I Expected to Participate?
Not if you don't want to. I never call on anyone or make anyone feel uncomfortable. However, if you like to read, need clarification on something, want to share a prayer request, etc., then feel free to jump on in there. This is a supportive sisterhood, and we love to hear what others have to say.

Read this Introduction to the Study!
"We find John exiled to Patmos, a small (10x6 mi) island off the coast of modern Turkey, in the Aegean Sea, because of his activities as a Christian missionary. He testifies about all he saw through visions during his moments 'in the spirit'.
At the time of his writing, there was much persecution of Christians as the Roman authorities attempted to enforce emperor worship. The Christians, however, held firmly that Christ, not Caesar, was Lord. Therefore, John is writing as an encouragement to those who were standing firm in their faith. He tells them a day is coming when Christ will be victorious over Satan, but until then, persecution of the saints will increase.
Revelation is a highly symbolic book, and though it represents real truths, many are just that--symbols. According to David Guzik, the book 'is rooted in the Old Testament. It contains more than 500 allusions to the Old Testament, and 278 of the 404 verses in Revelation (that is almost 70%) make some reference to the Old Testament.'
The book spans three literary genres: apocalyptic, prophetic, and a letter. It also comes with a word of blessing for all those who read it and for those who hear it and put it into practice.
The word “Revelation” comes from the Greek word apokalupsis (apocalypse), which means a revealing or unveiling. In other words, God is pulling back the curtain so we can catch a glimpse of end-times events, but also reveals to us Jesus, our King and Victor."
